A strange observation of “time”. Before the 2000's we had the idea of distinct generations. This lack of definition in the mind gives the impression of a more conservative, unchanging perception of the times in our minds. The 20's thru 90's in the English Language are easy to define. The 2000s and 2010s have less word use and seem to provide a less defined image and divide in the mind. It is the same with the 1900s and 1910s. We are almost half way thru the 20s and I'm not sure what the style of the 2020s even is but I predict more well defined decades and defining qualities will start to materialize again.
